If we'd been banned from the Chateau Marmont over a $46,000 bill and accused of stealing $100,000 worth of jewellery, we'd probably lay low over the next few days/week/months.
But we're not Lindsay Lohan, who took the opportunity to turn her life/week around by clubbing with Ed Westwick. Yes, that Ed Westwick, who plays suavely-dressed gorgeous womaniser Chuck Bass in Gossip Girl.
After spending a day retweeting compliments that fans had tweeted her, she went out to a club and Ed was there.
We don't know if they went there together or if they just casually bumped into each other in the gold-curtained VIP room (we're using this to guess that it's a club and not a restaurant - the only restaurant with gold curtains in is the buffet car of a train). But it looks as if they got on very well when they saw each other.
In the photo, Lindsay's hair is all tousled and flicked about, and that finger in the mouth thing that she (and Rihanna) do so well is totally going on.
She hasn't been looking her absolute best lately (sorry Linds, but you've done something awful to those cheeks) but right now, in this photo, she's the bona fide hottie we used to know.

Ed seems to agree, giving her a big leery look. But we don't know what he's thinking, that's probs why Lindsay tweeted: "#www.whatshethinking.com -that's a good site idea, isn't it? Wouldn't all of us girls like to know!" with the photo.
And she's right. We totally want to know what went down between these two, especially considering Lindsay used to have a crush on Chuck Bass!
She told Harper's Bazaar in 2008: "“I’m the biggest loser Gossip Girl fan. I love Chuck. I want to be his friend."
We can't wait to see how this one unfolds!
