If you cut all your hair off and bleached it blonde before tweeting loads of photos of yourself, you might get a few odd looks and your friends might start to unfollow you on Twitter. But if you're Miley Cyrus, it's a totally different ball game.
The 19-year-old, who recently got engaged to Liam Hemsworth, has had to bear the brunt of rumours suggesting that she needs some sort of help. We know the haircut isn't exactly to everyone's liking, but it's hardly as bad as an overdose!
US Star magazine disagrees, though. They quoted a 'friend' of hers as saying: "Miley's become a completely different person. Her new look and change in mentality make her almost unrecognisable to those who know her best.
"The family has actually been talking about an intervention for a while, but the haircut was the icing on the cake. The only conclusion they can come to for her erratic behaviour is that she's in on drugs."
Instead of dignifying this type of nonsense with a hearty, long answer, Miley's representative dismissed the claims with a simple "ridiculous".
And Miley herself is just being...well, she's just being Miley. Uploading photos of herself and refusing to get involved in all the One Direction/Perez Hilton drama.
When fans of 1D congratulated her on unfollowing Perez after he said that Zayn Malik would quit the band, she responded: "I don't know why everyone's saying I unfollowed Perez I never followed in the 1st place. I have no hard feelings just don't care 2 gossip."
