Olympic silver medalist Louis Smith could soon swap the pommel horse for the pop charts.
The gymnastics star – who is pals with JLS’s Aston Merrygold – has been inundated with offers since becoming one of the heartthrobs of the London 2012 Games.
“My agent and I have talked about what we want to do – he’s had a few exciting emails from people so I won’t say too much,” Louis tells The Mirror.
“I’ve always been keen to look at options within music and fashion so we’re considering various things.”
Louis Smith: “There’s been a lot of expectation”

The 23-year-old gymnastics star has also revealed that once the Games are over he’ll be heading off on a well-deserved holiday,
“We’re going to Marbella – the whole team and some of my mates – to sightsee and unwind.
“The pressure in the build-up to the Games has been tremendous. My face has been in the media a lot and there’s been a lot of expectation so to be able to perform as well as we did for all those thousands of people watching was an amazing feeling.”
“I’ll keep going”

Despite his success in London – Louis won silver and bronze – he still has his sights set on gold at the Rio Olympics in four years time,
“I’ll keep going and see what happens – there’s a lot of young guys keeping me on my toes, but competing in Rio in four years time does appeal.”
We’re just excited about the chance to see his muscles on display again
