Earlier this week the One Direction boys were seen having a game of football with Ed Sheeran during a break from recording their new album.
And it looks like this little kick about has given one of the 1D fellas a taste for the beautiful game.
Louis Tomlinson has bought his local pub football team.
Louis – who’s not short of a bob or two, thanks to his band’s global success – didn’t have to dig too deep to pay for his beloved The Three Horse Shoes football team, from Doncaster. He only had to cough up enough for a round of drinks and a set of new Nike strips.
“Before Louis auditioned on The X Factor he played for the local pub side with a few of his pals back in Donny,” a source told The Sun.
“The team were struggling to get a new kit together for the new season, and it filtered back to Louis.
Louis wants to get stuck in
“He decided to put his hand in his pocket as long as he can be called the owner and get the odd game when One Direction’s diary allows."
What a handsome team these boys would make
We can’t wait for that bit where they swap shirts…
“He has sorted a really smart set of Nike strips and has even arranged a sponsor — Yorkshire Tea.
“They will have the best kit in the league and no shortage of tasty brews at half time in the cold winter months.”
Louis is taking his new role pretty seriously – he’s already been in touch with local team Doncaster Rovers to arrange pre-season friendly.
We hope he doesn’t spend all his time serving half-time oranges and forget about his duty to One Direction…
