Now we know it’s not right to tar all grandmas with the blue-rinse-in-hair-Pink-wafer-in-hand-brush but this is summin’ else - Daisy Lowe has admitted her very own nana was the person who encouraged her to do a Playboy shoot late last year.
The 23-year-old appeared in the September issue of Playboy, which infamously features its stars completely naked. She told this months’ InStyle magazine her mum, former groupie/rocker Pearl Lowe, didn’t even want to even see the pictures, but her grandma said: 'Oh darling, if you've got it, flaunt it, you'll be happy about it when you're 60.'
Model Daisy did admit she felt a bit weird when the photos came out. "When I got the email with the pictures," she said, "I was quite shocked by the last photo. I thought, 'Did they have to show that much of it?' I was a little freaked out."
Daisy also opened up about loving food too much to be as thin as her contemporaries in the modelling industry.
She said: "While I appreciate how thin some of the models are – when it’s healthy – and think, 'Yeah, you're gorgeous and the clothes hang off you amazingly', I like to stay strong about how I’m built."
