Peaches Geldof has hit back on Twitter after reports that she is “worryingly thin” began to circulate.
The daughter of Sir Bob Geldof gave birth to baby Astala in April with her fiancé, musician Tom Cohen. She has been accused of having trouble with her weight in the past – but it seems that this is one celebrity that you don’t want to mess with.

Where it started
An article this morning wrote that the former Ultimo model was looking “gaunt” as pictures emerged of her and baby Astala out in the park. Also, it was claimed that Peaches used to follow a strict juicing diet before binging on junk food.
“I do it usually for about a month. I have no willpower but with the juicing I’m like, I have to do it because I have to lose this extra ten pounds. I will lose it then I’m back going mental for the chips.”
Peaches denied these claims online, tweeting that she had never said anything of the sort. Oh dear.

The Twitter backlash
A furious Peaches went onto Twitter this morning to refute the claims – arguing that she is just a normal mum.
@peaches_G i'm amazed at what this paper will come up with sometimes. I dont see any bones sticking out, I see a slim, healthy sized, happy young mum.
The 23 year old loves a tweet so it’s no surprise that she used the social networking site to air her views.

After her outburst, she then continued to retweet messages of support before thanking everyone that had supported her.
“@peaches_g Thank you to all my lovely followers for your kind words. I know however, that the media is obsessed with weight & just need to ignore it. X”

Old news
This isn’t the first time Peaches has been picked out for being too slim. Back in 2011 she got criticised for looking very slim when out and about in London. She wouldn’t stand for that then either, getting straight onto her Twitter account to set the record straight.
“@peaches_g To those telling me I look skinny and to eat something, I can assure you I've just cut out eating c**p. I still eat like a horse, guys!”
You tell them Peaches.
