Every year, the kind people at Red Bull Music Academy put on a free event in collaboration with Major Lazer at Notting Hill Carnival. Plying lucky ticket winners with booze and food, they also deliver a whole day's worth of wicked music.
And this year, Major Lazer has two very special guests: Rita Ora and Skrillex. Rita performed the surprise set to an ecstatic audience, and Skrillex brought his brand of "bro-step" to the crowd.
Skrillex's (not his real name) girlfriend Ellie Goulding watched on from the side of the stage while he performed, wearing a beanie hat over her Pink and blonde hair, and JLS turned up for the event but were only there to watch, not to perform. Rising star Jessie Ware also appeared, again only to watch the fun, not perform.

Sean Paul was also one of the headlining acts, and there were rumours, too, that Madonna collaborator M.I.A. was in the audience. Which couldn't be too far-fetched, because she has worked with DJ Diplo before.
However, there is a strong case that she wasn't actually there, as her and Diplo - who, under his moniker who run the event with Red Bull Music Academy - fell out recently with ex-girlfriend M.I.A., accusing her of "glamourising terrorism" in her songs and tweets.

But maybe they set aside their differences to enjoy carnival together. It is like the musical version of Christmas, after all. If Christmas had more booze and a strong police presence, that is.
Other celebrities to go to carnival include Ms Dynamite, who performed at the Digital Soundboy stage along with Radio 1 DJ Toddla T, and Jamal Edwards, the entrepreneur behind SB.TV.
