Hey, we’ve all been there – you get all obsessed with aliens and you stop caring about your appearance and whether you’re crazy or not.
Well actually we haven’t ever done that, but we can imagine what it was like for poor Robbie Williams when he became obsessed with UFOs.
The Take That star had a slightly unhealthy obsession with them after becoming 'burnt out' from his 20-year-long music career.
“Ever since I was 16 all I have been doing is make album, promote album, tour album... and I did that for 20 years,” Robbie, 38, told The Sun.
“Then I got a bit burnt out and I was looking for something else. I thought that something else was making documentaries about UFOs.”
Robbie, who’s about to become a father for the first time, has said he had the mickey taken out of him during his ‘UFO years’.
‘Weird and fat’ Robbie
No Robbie - that's just an aeroplane...
He’s also said he knows the alien documentaries were never a great idea.
“But that wasn't going to work out for me. It just made me weird and - at the time - fat. Weird and fat, looking at UFOs.
So Robbie decided a better way to go was launching his own clothing line.
“So I thought I would reverse out of this situation, which was a PR nightmare, and my management put the idea [of a clothing line] to me.”
Robbie released his fashion line, Farrell, yesterday.
We don’t get how weird or fat you get Robbie (within reason), we still love you.
