After weeks of refusing to go there, Robert Pattinson has finally opened up about his split from Kristen Stewart, saying, “It is pretty funny”.
Huh? What?
After his girlfriend Kristen Stewart was totally busted having an affair with married director Rupert Sanders, you might have thought Rob would be pretty cut up about everything that’s happened.
But first he spent his way skilfully avoiding the subject every time it was brought up on a promo tour for his film Cosmopolis – and when he wasn’t dodging bullets, he was doing a lot of giggling.
Now an interview has emerged with Rob where he admits he finds the whole circus surrounding him bizarre and that he can’t stop reading the stories about him.

Asked if he read the articles about him that have covered newspapers and magazines around the world, he admitted to the Chicago Sun Times: “Yeah, I read it. It’s my life. You sort of want to read it. You feel like you need to read it.
“It’s one of those things where you keep picking a scab. You know you shouldn’t be doing it, but it’s a weird kind of addiction. You desperately want to stop.”
Asked how he deals with all the attention, he added: “It drives you nuts. “It’s just nuts.
“I don’t know how I cope with it. I really don’t know. At times, I find the whole thing pretty funny. It is pretty funny. My life is kind of ridiculous to me. It’s so absurd at time.”
Oh, and Rob, if you’re reading this, hello! Would you like to go for a drink sometime? No? Ok, worth a shot.
