There are things we do after we suffer a break up. We cry. We comfort eat. We cry. We watch rubbish films and cry more at the sad bits. We hide under our duvets and shake uncontrollably with big snotty cry. Not Robert Pattinson, though.
Ever the professional, the gorgeous actor has been doing all of his promotional duties for new film Cosmopolis, even though Kristen Stewart confessed a few weeks ago that she'd cheated on him. And his latest public appearance was at the New York Stock Exchange.
This isn’t just to confuse us, but because in the film, he plays a billionaire who’s made most of his money on the stock exchange. At least, we think that’s what he plays.
He’s revealed that he can’t reveal too much about his character, or the film, because it’ll give the entire game away, and it’s all far too complicated and deep to be explained, anyway!
He told Jon Stewart on The Daily Show: "I don't think you can give away the plot, I think it's impossible, trying to explain what the movie's about is physically impossible.
"It's a very kind of eccentric [film], it's one of the only things I'll ever do where I can say, 'I don't think this will ever be made again', or, 'It hasn't been made before'.”
“Regardless of how people see it, at least it's something new."
