When you're an olympic athlete training for your big event, you might expect top quality care and facilities around the clock. That is, unless you're on the swimming team, in which case you don't worry about nearby toilets, but instead have a good old fashioned pee in the pool.
Most of you may have been in this situation before, you're in a swimming pool, a good few feet from the loo, but you really, really have to go. Well Olympic athlete Ryan Lochte wasn't ashamed to admit he's peed in the Olympics swimming pool..Is it weird that this makes us fancy him a little bit more?
Ryan was chatting to Ryan Seacrest on his show this morning when he was asked whether he'd ever peed in the pool. Ryan replied,
"Of course. We always do...Not during the races, but I sure did before in warm-up...There's something about getting into chlorine water that you just automatically go."
Ryan was forced to defend himself earlier this week when his mum revealed that the cheeky chap doesn't have time for a relationship, but if a big fan of one-night-stands. Ryan claims that what his mum actually meant was that he only has time for the odd date, saying,
"I knew how the media was going to take it, and I knew what my mom really meant," Ryan said. "She's new to the whole media (experience), so she didn't really understand that they were going to twist it and make it bad."
We're willing to over-look the pool peeing behaviour for a date with Ryan!
