We may have already seen Shia LaBeouf's nethers in that arty promo for Icelandic band Sigur Ros's very long and arty song, but the actor is ready to take his acting, and his nethers to the next level.
The film, which will be called Nymphomaniac, is all about a girl who has quite the sex addiction, making, say…Russell Brand look like, say… Susan Boyle.
Shia has signed on to the project and is (we figure) going to play one of the men that this nymphomaniac does the dirty with.
The Transformers actor said: "It is what you think it is. There's a disclaimer at the top of the script that basically says, we're doing [the sex] for real.
"And anything that is 'illegal' will be shot in blurred images, but other than that, everything is happening."
In the interview with MTV, he explained that the director, Lars Von Trier, is very out there: "He's very dangerous. He's the most dangerous dude I've ever showed up for. I'm terrified."
The film will also star Nicole Kidman, Charlotte Gainsbourg and Willem Dafoe. Luckily, these three are no stranger to pushing the boundaries of taste for art.
Nicole and ex-husband Tom Cruise starred in Eyes Wide Shut, which was basically all about sexual fantasies. French actress and singer Charlotte Gainsbourg shot to fame when she sang a song called Lemon Incest with her dad, no less.
And Willem Dafoe appeared in Body of Evidence with Madonna, which involved a scene where she poured hot candlewax off of his chest and then licked it off.
Don't be scared, Shia, you'll be in good company!
