
The X Factor is already underway, which means Strictly Come Dancing isn’t far behind.
So we are very excited to hear that Kimberley Walsh could be taking to the Strictly Come Dancing stage this winter.
The Girls Aloud singer – who’s been making a name for herself in the West End thanks to her role as Princess Fiona in Shrek – has reportedly been lined up to put on her dancing shoes.
“When we heard she was interested we were thrilled. Now everyone's dying to see her moves. She's a great name to have got,” a source has told The Mirror.
Kimberley would be an excellent name for the BBC to have bagged for the dancing show. But there’s also the small matter of the Girls Aloud reunion which is – according to the girls themselves is due to take part in November. Will Kimberley have time for both?
Strictly is due to hit our TV screens next month, so we’ll soon see if Kimberley is dancing!

Other celebrities who are rumoured to the joining Strictly this year include Olympic heroes Sir Steve Redgrave and Victoria Pendleton. Cricketer Michael Vaughan is also on the list of rumoured names as well as Westlife star Nicly Byrne and Great British Bake Off judge Paul Hollywood.
