Grieving Gary Barlow cancels X Factor judges’ houses trip to Majorca

 

X Factor judge, Gary Barlow has scrapped his trip to Majorca, Spain for the judges’ houses round of the competition.

The grieving mentor will instead stay in Britain to be near his wife Dawn who gave birth to their stillborn daughter Poppy on 4 August.

A source said: “The Majorca plan has been ditched. Gary is in no fit state to be out of the country. Everyone is completely behind whatever he wants to do.

“He has said that he will stick to the planned September 10 and 11 dates but now we are looking for a suitable venue near London.”

The Take That star’s bandmate Robbie Williams is still lined up to give him a hand like last year.

Gary has also pulled out of today’s X Factor press launch, ‘due to personal circumstances’.

Meanwhile, new judge Nicole Scherzinger has failed to convince Tinie Tempah to be her judges’ houses sidekick, but will instead have Ne-Yo helping her pick her contestants to go through to the live shows.

The X Factor starts this Saturday 8pm on ITV.
 

Tulisa hits back at Louis Walsh for calling her a chav

 

Oh Louis Walsh – surely you know better than to have a pop at Tulisa Contostavlos.

Last week Louis called fellow X Factor judge Tulisa a chav, saying: “She's a bit rough around the edges and when they announced she was on the panel I was expecting a chav in a tracksuit - which is what we got - but she's a lot of fun.”

So, obviously, Tulisa’s hit back at Louis, who made his name managing Boyzone and Westlife.

“I’m not any less educated in music just because I’m a newbie on the scene... I still deserve my spot on the panel.

“When was Westlife last Number One? Because mine was a couple of weeks ago. Ha! Don’t give me all that ‘selling millions of records’ rubbish. Because how long ago was that?”

Word of advice Louis – don’t mess with North Londoners.
 

Ellen DeGeneres copies Miley Cyrus’ new hair

 

TV host Ellen DeGeneres has decided she loves Miley Cyrus’ new pixie hairdo so much, she’s had it done herself.

Well, sort of…

She’s given herself a Photoshop makeover, and by jove we think we like it.

Posting the picture to Twitter, Ellen joked: "I love @MileyCyrus' new haircut so much that I copied it."

When LOL star Miley saw the image, she tweeted: "Hahahahhaha that's funny AS S**T! Omg! Ellen you look awesome hahaha".

However, when one of Miley’s followers suggested that everyone will soon be getting 'The Miley', she replied: "oh god I hope not then I'm gonna have to do something elsssse. that's what happened with the crazy bun!"

Just remember Miley, imitation is the highest form of flattery.
