Although we’ve seen Kim Kardashian make some pretty bleak fashion choices recently – namely wearing boyfriend Kanye West’s gross white heels. Not his actual heels, but ones that he’s designed.
Anyway, she’d better hope that people still look to her as a fashion icon, because alongside her sisters, she’s launching an eyewear range.
Kim, Khloe and Kourtney are designing the range for their existing line – the Kardashian Kollection – at Sears, a US shop. They’ve already got clothes and accessories for sale there, and just adding onto this with by branching out. One day you’ll be able to get Kardashian Kornflakes. We LIVE for that day!
Kim had laser eye surgery in 2008 – you wouldn’t think it, to look at those hideous shoes she wore the other day. Seriously, they were that bad. And although she hasn’t needed to wear glasses since, she feels a sympathy for all the four-eyeses in the world and wants them to know they can still look chic while rocking a pair of frames.
Writing on her blog way back in March, she said: "Glasses can be sexy! My sisters Kendall and Kylie have a ton of different fashion eyeglasses that they love wearing! No one should feel embarrassed about wearing glasses... geek-chic is hot!"
So there you have it. Kardashian glasses. Funny, isn’t it, that they launch the eyewear collection the very week that Victoria Beckham reveals her plans to sell glasses…?
We wonder whose collection will do best.
