Vanessa Paradis has opened up about her “pain” following her split from Johnny Depp… kind of.
The French actress – who split from Johnny earlier this year after 14 years together – told a French Elle magazine, “I don’t want to talk about him,” before talking quite a lot.
Vanessa, who was promoting her new film Cornouaille, continued: “My duty to promote this movie, and my albums, but can you imagine what it feels like to see people making a business out of your pain. What's happened to us is our concern.”
Vanessa, 39, and Johnny, 49, have two children together – Lily-Rose, 13, and Jack, 9, and the Pirates of the Caribbean actor has yet to have his say on the split.
While she refused to comment on Johnny specifically, she did offer some insight, adding: “I don't have the recipe for happiness, but I think the engine is simply having the desire.
“It's not feeling obliged or forced or repeating yourself.
“I hate, for example, whenever you hear someone say, ‘You have work at being a couple’. No, you have to want to be there.
“And for me, I want to be right where I am right now.”
She also revealed that her perfect man would be “creative, with burning eyes and a pretty mouth”.
