Gosh darn it we love Jessica Ennis.
She's the athlete everyone's talking about. She totally nailed the women's heptathlon, which includes seven gruelling events, on Saturday grabbing herself a lovely shiny gold medal for Team GB. Nice.
Lovely Jessica was keen to let the fans know how much their support meant to her.
She recently thanked fans, saying: “It sounds really cheesy ‘Oh the crowd will help you’, but it did so much. Especially in the running events.”
And can you believe that up until recently she was down to compete in the women's hurdles later on this week, but decided to skip it and just have a bit of time to herself to enjoy her gleaming gold medal.
“I think my name was put down for the hurdles as a back-up plan…I just want to enjoy this moment, make the most of it.
"And to be honest, the way I’m feeling tired-wise and my body’s aching, I don’t think I could be at the level I needed to for the heat.”
Congratulations Jessica - you've done us all proud.
