Amy Childs has hit out at her former TOWIE co-stars saying that they’re setting a bad example to their younger fans. The 22-year-old left the show in 2011 to go on Celebrity Big Brother.
Not so reem…
The reality star recently criticised the show that propelled her into the limelight, claiming that the content didn’t suit the audience and needed to be cleaned up.
“There are young people watching and they look up to TOWIE people, so they need to stop swearing and talking about sex so much.”
Blimey, it'll be elocution lessons next.

It’s not like the good old days
Not content with just having a pop at the risqué content, she went on to say that the show wasn’t what it used to be and is focussing more on the negatives rather than the jovial banter we all know and love from the first series. Because there wasn't any drama then. Was there?
“I know it’s a reality show, but I do think they need to stop arguing so much too.”
We wonder what the others will have to say about this. Something new to row about maybe?

Strangely though, she also said that she would “never say never with TOWIE’, hinting that she might return to the show one day when she had more time or if some of her old friends also made a return.
‘If all the old characters came back, that’s when I obviously would. I wouldn’t say never, but I’m talking in the future.”
That’s a fast turn around, Amy.
Since leaving the series she has launched a fragrance, opened a boutique and released a swimwear range. Maybe her next project could be on TOWIE as a behavioural coordinator.
Don’t be mean, be reem. Obvs.
