Despite having a whole lot in common – megastar partners, huge celebrity status and Bootylicious bodies – Beyonce and Kim Kardashian just don’t seem to be getting on.
They were both spotted cheering on their other halves, Jay-Z and Kanye West, when they performed together at the Made In America festival in Philadelphia over the weekend. But according to the New York Daily News, the ladies weren’t exactly chummy.
A source told the newspaper: “Kim and Beyonce barely spoke to each other.
“They were on opposite sides of the stage. Beyonce didn't even acknowledge [Kim] was there until the concert was almost over.
“[Kim] didn't make any efforts to go speak to Beyonce either.”

Despite pretty much ignoring each other during the show, the source said Beyonce and Kim chatted a little when they went backstage, but they seemed 'uncomfortable', and while Beyonce and Jay-Z mingled, Kim spent the majority of her time with Kanye and her best friend Jonathan Cheban.
“Eventually, the women made small talk in the dressing room, but you could tell Kim was uncomfortable.
“She clung onto Kanye the entire time and didn't say much. Kim was talking to Jonathan, and Kanye was talking to Jay-Z and Beyonce.”

Strategic friendship
An insider recently told the New York Daily News that Kim was being strategic in gaining Beyonce's trust, by not making a big deal of them hanging out in the same circles.
“She’s hung with them a few times already, but she isn’t saying peep about them,” a source told the paper. “She’s not tweeting or taking pictures with Beyonce because she doesn’t want to seem desperate.”

And Beyonce could be keeping her distance from reality star Kim after she received criticism from her fans for spending time with her back in June, when they were seen dancing together while watching their partners performing.
Her fans were ‘outraged’ that Beyonce could be friends with somebody who became a celebrity after starring in a sex tape.
Word of advice – keep the camera out of the bedroom if you want to be buddies with Beyonce.
