Solange Knowles might not be as universally famous as her older sister, you know, Beyonce. But she's still a very talented singer and musician.
As you can see, in this video, for her new song, Losing You. Produced by Devonte Hynes, a man who hangs out with the likes of London trendy types Florence Welch out of Florence and the Machine, Peaches Geldof and Alexa Chung, we quite like it.
The video, shot in Cape Town, South Africa, shows her dancing around a shanty town - very unstarry - and she wears some lovely colourful clothes, including a pair of leopard-print pumps we totally covet.
She recently told Rollacoaster that Beyonce is "such a role model…it was an insane learning process for me to have a big sister like that" but that she doesn't mind not being as famous as her:
"I really enjoy my privacy and being able to walk my son to school every morning and pick him up every afternoon. I know that I couldn't do that if I was at the next level."
Until older sister Beyonce releases new music, maybe Solange's song can tide us over? Not that it sounds anything like her music…or does it? What do you think?
