We’ve known that David Beckham can take the mickey out of himself ever since him and Victoria agreed to be interviewed on live TV by Sacha Baron Cohen’s Ali G for charity. And more recently, he appeared in a prank segment on Ellen Degeneres’s talk show.
So, true to form, he’s happy to bear the brunt of some LOLs in this NFL promo. As it’s all to do with the upcoming American football season, there’s a lot of footbally injokes that we don’t really get.
But if you skip to 1:30, you’ll see a very cute David Beckham getting angry at the jock using his house to chill out in as he makes all of these nonsensical references to stuff we’ve never heard of.
Though only the end bit makes a bit of sense, it’s pretty funny that David Beckham’s so fit and famous and funny that he’s being used to promote a sport he doesn’t even play!
