Denise Van Outen is the latest celebrity to sign up to Strictly Come Dancing. The popular BBC series kicks off next Saturday with an opening show to showcase all the stars. Strictly bosses have promised a star studded line up this year and it looks as though they are coming good on their promise.
Best foot forward
The show’s bosses are hoping that the 38-year-old will be going out to impress and will make stiff competition for the other contestants. She has a history on the dancefloor, starring in Legally Blonde and Tell Me On A Sunday in the West End and has proved already that she is more than qualified to high kick, jive and walz through the competition.
A source close to the star believes that the mum of one's talent could take her the whole way.
“Denise has loads of rhythm and she’s superfit so she should be a great contestant. She’s never done ballroom before but she’s certainly got the raw materials to wow on the dance floor.”
Let’s hope she won’t turn out to have two left feet.

TEN!
Other stars in the competition include, Girls Aloud singer Kimberley Walsh and Westlife’s Nicky Byrne – who have also had dance training in their time. Olympian’s, Victoria Pembleton and Louis Smith plus cricketer Michael Vaughn – TV faves, Fern Britton, Dani Harmer, Richard Arnold, Johnny Ball and Sid Owen and model and ex-wife of Mick Jagger, Jerry Hall.
This is one juicy little line up.

Ready to Rhumba
Darcey Bussell is now permanently on the judging panel after first appearing as a guest judge in 2009. She’ll be sat alongside old hands, Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli and the cutting Craig Revel-Horwood.
Let the judging begin.
