Former child star and Charlies Angel Drew Barrymore has given birth to a baby girl. The actress and producer announced the happy news along with art consultant Will Kopelman in a statement to People magazine.
They said: "We are proud to announce the birth of our daughter, Olive Barrymore Kopelman, born Sept. 26th, healthy, happy and welcomed by the whole family."
Awww! Drew and Will tied the knot in June this year in a low-key ceremony. Well, we say low-key, but as she IS Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz and Reese Witherspoon were just some of the A-List guests.
In fact, fact-fans, Drew and Cameron are so still close after all these years (they've known each other since they were teenagers) that Will had to ask Cameron's permission to propose to Drew! Cameron told InStyle earlier this year: "I knew Drew was getting married before she did!”
We doubt this'll be Will and Drew's first tot, too, as Drew recently told Haute Living magazine that she's keen to have a whole brood of kids:
“I didn’t have a traditional childhood. I did not have a strong family dynamic growing up, but I’m about to start a family of my own,”
She added: “I just want to build fun, great things for my family.”
Drew was previously engaged to two men in her teens, before marrying bar owner Jeremy Thomas for two months. After divorcing him, she dated and married funnyman Tom Green. After they divorced, she dated The Strokes drummer Fabrizio Moretti, then co-star Justin Long on and off. It seems she's properly settled now, though, with a lovely family coming together.
Altogether now...awwwwwww! Congrats, Drew and Will!
