The pressure of The X Factor judge role seems to have hit again, this time with Gary Barlow. The Take That star admitted he almost quit The X Factor last year because of the pressure.
Luckily this year, as he told The Sun, he has shown how he can let loose with the fun experience the job role can offer.
He said, "There's a lot of pressure - it really is massive. I remember last year - on Sunday nights in particular - if I knew one of them was in the bottom two, I'd feel so nervous.
"And you'd watch this spaceship swirling around knowing that millions of people are watching and it was out of your hands, and you'd just feel sorry for them."
Relax Gazza, you get to sit down all day and judge vocalists! That, and the wage package can’t be that bad! Despite his anxieties last year, he claimed his new attitude to the show has been paying off already this series.
"I just want to have more fun this year and I have done already. I was on tour while we were doing the auditions last year and it was bloody hard work.
"I always felt miserable when I arrived because I was knackered already. But this year I don't feel like I've done anything yet! It's been fun."
That’s more like it!
On top of his new found fun, Gary, and the rest of The X Factor fanatics will enjoy the new twist that was reported yesterday to be lined-up for the show.
A vote to put a wildcard act on the live shows…exciting or potential disaster? Either way it will definitely make for excellent television viewing.
