Say what you like about Gemma Collins, but she could be about to become the most successful TOWIE star by miles.
Forget a single boutique, or putting your name to some beauty products, Gemma has exclusively revealed The Gemma Collins Collection is about to break America.
Gemma launched her plus-size clothing line in July this year and, chatting to us at the TV Choice awards, she revealed things are starting to get really exciting.
She told us: “The clothing line is about to break in America and I just think how has this girl from Romford who used to shop down the market – and still goes down the market, because I love it, I love the atmosphere down there – got here?”
The clothing range – which is currently available on her website and caters for sizes 16 to 22 – was set to make Gemma £1million when it launched two months ago, but if her products make it big stateside, the Essex girl will never have to pop down the market again.
Gemma - who is dating co-star James Argent - however, remained down-to-earth.
“If this is all ended tomorrow I’d go and get a market stall and I’d bloody enjoy it,” she said. “We’re just normal and we keep it real.
“I’ve got a fantastic clothing line that I did everything myself and when I see people wearing it, it brings me to tears, because I think ‘Bloody hell, I can’t believe it’. I can’t believe this has happened to me in my life.”
