It looks like it’s all over for Geri Halliwell and Russell Brand. Yes, already.
After being spotted on a couple of dates with Spice Girl Geri, Russell has since been seen out with 24-year-old drama student Aimee Levoir, leaving Geri to feel embarrassed about the short-lived fling.
“Geri feels humiliated,” a close friend of the singer tells heat. “More than anything, she’s angry with herself.
“She refused to listen to her friends, who warned her against getting with Russell and now she feels like a fool,” the friend adds.
While sources tell heat that both Geri and Russ we’re being quite casual about the relationship, seeing Russell step out with another woman so soon has made Geri feel all the more embarrassed,
“Geri was really just looking for a bit of fun, especially after her painful split with Henry [Beckwith, in August 2011] and after the excitement of performing at the Olympics’ Closing Ceremony and then bumping into Russell, everything happened quite fast,” heat’s source reveals
“Although there had always been an attraction between them, Geri never expected to become so attached to him so quickly. Outwardly, she wants to show everyone that this is no big deal. But she can’t help but secretly cringe with embarrassment.”
Poor, Geri. But if it makes her feel any better we’re sure we’ll see a different girl on Russell’s arm next week.
