It’s a little known celeb fact that Fresh Meat and Bad Teacher funny man Jack Whitehall (you know, the posh one with the funny hair) went to school with Twilight hunk Robert Pattinson (also the posh one with the funny hair…but better cheekbones).
So when heatworld bumped into the actor backstage at the taping of Alan Carr: Chatty Man - which he was very funny on and also extremely rude – we just had to ask him what he thought about all the K-Stew/R-Pattz drama!
As reported in this week's magazine, the pair have started making steps towards a shock reconciliation - but Jack has other ideas...
He told us: “I am Team R-Pattz after all the shit he’s been through so if I saw him now I’d just want to give him a big hug.”
'Rob can't act'
However, he admitted the actor might not be so happy to see him as he has regularly dissed Rob in his stand-up saying “he can’t act”.
He even once quipped: “I go to see all his films, I went to see his Harry Potter film like four times and every time his character died I was the only person laughing.”
So Jack told us: “He might not want a [hug] from me though. We are really not friends at all. He was cool at school.
“But I could be his wingman [now] and help him find a new bird. He needs the help, poor sod, look at his face – just joking, love you Pattzy!
“But my mum still loses out in Son Top Trumps with Robert Pattinson’s mum.”
