We thought it was that young whippersnapper One Direction lot who’ve grown up over the past couple of years, but according to Jessie J, she’s done a lot of growing up recently, too. Not only has she overhauled her style, exchanging the cartoon-emblazoned leggings, bright blue wigs and garish jackets for an altogether more demure and mature look, but she’s now on the lookout for love!
The Price Tag singer said: “That really scary, spiky, cartoony kind of thing, that was me two or three years ago.
“Now, I'm definitely more embracing of myself as a woman and my sexuality and just being a bit more feminine.”
The Voice judge admitted that the way she burst onto scene in a jumbled rainbow of day-glo colours was actually a ploy to get our attention: “I've always wanted to look like this, but it didn't grab people's attention.”
“And in the beginning you've always got to do something that's going to make people go, ‘Who's that?’”
In the interview, with Elle, she revealed that she might be working with Stella McCartney and that she’s finally getting the world of fashion.

Paraphrasing Gok Wan, she said: “It’s about confidence. Maybe I was a bit scared. I was a bit insecure about my body, about being too grown up. “But I was a girl and now I’m a woman and I want to make sure I enjoy it.”
And she spoke about being bisexual: “It's one of those things where they labelled me. Sexuality shouldn't define anyone. It doesn't define me.”
“Love should be at the core of what you do. I'm only interested in finding love now.”
Oooh. We wonder who she’s set her sights on!?
