Justin Bieber has said that he doesn’t want to be “just another teen heartthrob” ahead of his up-coming global tour.
We think it’s a bit late for that don’t you, Justin.
Taking it up a notch
Speaking earlier today, the 18-year-old singer said that he’s had enough of people criticising him and wants to show them that he can up his game with his new Believe tour.
Well, he’s got David Blaine on board so he’s obviously trying.
"I like being the underdog, and this tour is my chance to take things to the next level. I've never put in more hours preparing, because I want [the tour] to be perfect. I want it to be an event."
We’re sure it’ll be amazing Justin.

More than just a cutie…
Afraid of being put in the box, that to be honest he already lives in – the Girlfriend star revealed that he’s had enough of being type cast.
"I don't want to be just another teen heartthrob. I know some people are waiting for me to fail, thinking, 'Oh, his time's up’.”
“I'm with a personal trainer every day. I'm rehearsing every day. I want people to see this tour and go, 'Wow, that was something I didn't expect'."
We don’t think it’s going to be that hard for him to prove them all wrong though.
Today he was named The Most Powerful Under-21 by Billboard. Justin beat One Direction, Demi Lovato and even his girlfriend, Selena Gomez to the prize.
Who’s just a heartthrob now, eh?
