If you’re ever lucky enough to hang out with One Direction, don’t expect to always understand what they’re talking about.
Zayn Malik has revealed that he and Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson have their own special language that they use to keep themselves entertained,
“We say odd words that only we know what they mean,” Zayn has told BOP magazine.“We use it occasionally, and it’s just banter between us but we think it’s funny.”
If you want to join in with the boys’ secret chats, that’s just tough luck. Zayn has refused to even give a hint about any of the words in their own 1D language,
“It’s a secret, I can’t give any more away,” he insists.
Dappy wants to collaborate with One Direction
One person who might be allowed in on 1D’s secret code is N-Dubz star Dappy, who has just revealed that he’s like to work on a single with the boy band.
Dappy reckons that the boys are all talented and wants to write a song for them,
“I'd love to write a song with One Direction, they're amazing, they're a breath of fresh air,” he’s told Digital Spy.
“All of their voices, they've all got individually very unique voices, and yeah, I'd love to sit in a studio with them if they gave me the chance.”
Yes, One Direction are talented – and we bet the royalties from a single sung by the boys would be pretty decent too, eh Dappy?
