One Direction’s Liam Payne splits with girlfriend

 

What do you want first – the good news or the bad news?

Well the bad news is: One Direction’s Liam Payne has split up with girlfriend Danielle Peazer.

But the good news is: that now means there are three single boys in One Direction.

After two years together, Liam and dancer Danielle have decided to call it a day. The couple have blamed work commitments and her constant Twitter abuse from 1D fans for the break up.

Danielle, who Liam met while she was working as a dancer on The X Factor in 2010, only moved in with him a couple of months ago, but now her bags are packed and she’s moving out.

A source told The Sun: “It was getting impossible to keep it going. They were apart so much and everything that was being said to Danielle on Twitter was getting to her.

“They both still care for each other and will remain friends, but it all just got too much.”

Last week Liam explained how Twitter’s affected their relationship: “Danielle’s got over a million followers on Twitter, it’s just crazy.

“She’s been getting stopped in the street. She got chased by some girl in the park the other day, which is scary.

“They seem to have settled to the idea now, but every so often she gets death threats and stuff and she doesn’t need that.

“Danielle’s not the most confident person in the world and really takes note of what people say.”
 

The X Factor's Ella Henderson gets a gushing tweet from Cher

 

Ella Henderson is quickly becoming one to watch on this year’s X Factor.

And one person who’s keeping an eye on the talented 16-year-old is music legend Cher.

After Ella sang an incredible version of the diva’s hit Believe on Saturday night’s show, it wasn’t just judge Nicole Scherzinger who was left sobbing.

Ella got a tweet from the If I Could Turn Back Time megastar saying how choked up she got at her performance.

“work Done ...Went on Utube 2 c young girl sing Believe! Tears came 2 my eyes! So Touching! a Great version of a Great Song. WE Can Share It !”

And understandably Ella couldn’t believe her luck!

“I’m still pinching myself! To have the actual Cher tweet that she’d seen my performance was mind-blowing,” Ella said.

“I’ve been smiling all day. It is quite frankly unbelievable! I can’t believe she cried.”

We’ve got a feeling this girl’s going to be a big star.
 

Katy Perry named Billboard magazine’s Woman Of The Year

 

Katy Perry has been awarded the honour of being named Billboard magazine’s Woman Of The Year 2012.

The Wide Awake singer was described as “one of the most exciting and inspiring artists in the industry” by the publication's editorial director Bill Werde.

“Katy Perry broke into the industry not even five years ago, and has already accomplished more than most artists can hope for in an entire career,” Bill explained.

“We are thrilled to celebrate these incredible achievements and her amazing past 12 months by presenting her with the Billboard Woman Of The Year award.

“With what seems like a never-ending supply of record-breaking, chart-topping hits, coupled with her unique and fresh style, Katy Perry is hands-down one of the most exciting and inspiring artists in the industry today.”

Katy will officially receive the award at the Billboard Women In Music event in New York City on 30 November.
