Peaches Honeyblossom Geldof was born on 13 March 1989 to the late TV presenter Paula Yates and charitable rocker Bob Geldof. Starting out as a journalist, she wrote columns for both Elle Girl and The Daily Telegraph. Her and younger sister Pixie got a taste for the red carpet at a young age, as you can see in this adorable photo, taken in 2003 when they were 14 and 12.
Fast forward to 2007, and Peaches and Pixie (who models) are now the new It girls, appearing on red carpets at edgy showbiz events across London and pulling their best pouts.
Adding another string to her bow, Peaches was one half of the Trash Pussies, a gifted (if only in name) DJ twosome, featuring her and BFF Fifi Brown. According to their Myspace, they played Grime/Electro/Psychedelic.
Peaches modelled for PPQ in 2007. She was also named as the face of Australian brand Dotti and in 2009, she signed a six-figure modelling deal with bra company Ultimo. The head of the brand said: “Peaches was the perfect choice for this campaign. She’s young, edgy with lashings of style.” More on this later…
As well as Tom, Max and Faris, Peaches has gone out with indie band Spector’s Fred MacPherson, Celebrity Big Brother’s Donny Tourette and also briefly dated a man called Ping Heathcote. And just like many other trendy celeb women who've gone out in London, she's been linked to Russell Brand and Noel Fielding.
As well as little sister Pixie, Peaches has got to know all sorts of trendy London types, including Henry Holland, Nick Grimshaw, Miquita Oliver, Klaxons, Jaime Winstone, Patrick Wolf and Daisy Lowe.
Never one to forget the little people, Peaches spent a lot of time knocking about with her non-famous mates, either going out to grimey, sweaty clubs in east London, or taking them to swish red carpet do's in Mayfair. Can you guess where this photo was taken?
Peaches went out with The Horrors lead singer Faris Badwan (or Faris Rotter, as he liked to be called) for over a year from 2007-2008. He was reportedly very upset when she announced her first marriage, as he was convinced they were still going out!
Peaches met Chester French’s Max Drummey when she was living in New York and they eloped to Las Vegas in August 2008. Advising other young people to “party hard and get married”, they had each other’s initials tattooed on their hands. They announced their split in February 2009, but didn’t bother to actually divorce until Max filed the papers in 2011, citing “irreconcilable differences”.
Peaches was dropped as the face of Ultimo in March 2010 after nude photos and rumours surfaced of a wild, drug-fuelled night she’d had. Peaches complained: "I am disappointed that Ultimo has decided not to extend my contract based on a wildly exaggerated account of a night in Los Angeles five months ago."
After splitting from Max Drummey, cult film fan started dating American actor and director Eli Roth. She also went a drastic makeover, and started to look like a real Californian girl. With a bit more meat on her bones, shiny new whitened teeth and a deep mahogany tan, she looked healthier than ever.
Next thing we knew, though, she’d lost the weight, appearing skinnier-than-ever on the red carpet with new boyfriend, rock band S.C.U.M.’s Thomas Cohen.
Bizarrely, just when she got to her skinniest, Peaches announced she was pregnant with her first child. Engaged to Tom since November 2011, she debuted her bump at London Fashion Week in January 2012.
Astala Dylan Willow Geldof-Cohen was born in April 2012, and she hasn’t stopped tweeting photos of him - and dog, a golden retriever called Parpy - since!
On 8 September 2012, Peaches and Tom Cohen married at a church in Faversham, Kent - the same place where her parents married and where mum Paula's funeral was held.
