Making his first public appearance since naked photos of him emerged on the internet, Prince Harry attended the WellChild awards in London. The dapper prince wore a lot more than his cowrie-shell necklace for the occasion, in a blue suit, blue shirt and red and white tie.
Looking like a bit of a banker, he was there on official duty as a royal patron of the charity, which aims to benefit children battling long-term illness and tries to raise their spirits.
According to ITN, the Prince chatted to all of the winners and their families before the ceremony started. One, Alex Logan, cheekily promised to tell Harry “I’m glad you’ve got your clothes on”, but bottled it at the last minute, instead giving the ginger prince a message from his stuffed penguin: “Nice to meet you, Harry!”
The event, held at the Intercontinental Hotel, isn’t the only public appearance Harry will be making – as an official ambassador of the Paralympics, he’s to turn up to some of the events with older brother Prince William and sister-in-law Kate Middleton (The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, if we’re going to be formal about it all).
We’re pleased to see Harry’s antics haven’t got in the way of the great charity work he does...and it seems like the Royal Family are brushing the memories of Las Vegas under the carpet.

In other royal news, today, Prince Andrew abseiled down the Shard in London to commemorate the opening of the 1016 foot tower, and to raise money for charity Outward Bound.
He told The Independent: “I’m not even going to say that was a piece of cake or not. I will never do it again.”
Ha!
