Robbie Williams has admitted that he is in his wife Ayda’s bad books after revealing that he may miss the birth of their first child.
That’s not the best start to parenthood now is it Rob?
The show must go on
The Candy singer revealed earlier that his hectic schedule has caused trouble at home as he will be travelling all over the UK in the coming weeks.
“So I've got gigs this week, the baby could come at any minute, the wife has said, "If I go into labour and you've got a gig in say Leeds or Dublin, you've got to cancel it and come home."
Not content with keeping the peace, the 38-year-old instead asked Chris Evans, who was interviewing him for his Radio Two show, what he thought he should do.
We bet Ayda was even more chuffed about that. Annoy her – then discuss it on national radio.

Little white lies
After much to-ing and fro-ing – the former Take That member decided that twisting the truth slightly would be the best plan of action. After Evan’s told him that he should have a helicopter on standby – Robbie conjured up the next best thing. An imaginary helicopter.
“I'm going to pretend. This is what I'm going to tell her [Ayda] there is some helicopter behind the gig in Dublin, but that's expensive, so I'm not really going to do it. I'm going to tell her that's there and then keep my fingers crossed.”
However, after finding out on air that he was covered by his insurance if he cancelled any gigs due to childbirth – he decided that he would run to his wife's side.
Won't that muck up your no claims though, Rob?

Payback
Ayda could be having the last laugh however – as Robbie recently revealed that he’s suffering effects common with phantom pregnancies.
“She has to eat for two, but I’ve gained her weight. If she was sick, I was.”
That’ll teach him for playing the joker.
