Tulisa Contostavlos has admitted that she is both “despised and hated” by the public – but it doesn’t really bother her. Speaking this morning, the X Factor judge revealed that what they think doesn’t really matter “as long as I'm being me”.
Fair enough Tula!
Thick skinned
The Young singer has admitted that the public’s perception of her often changes.
“I'd say from N-Dubz it was very 50/50. When I first started X Factor, it leaned more towards being loved. And then now, it’s kind of back to 50/50."
We wonder what’s changed then?

Not one to mince her words or thoughts rather, the 24-year-old revealed that she feels that she has only ever been herself and that could be why no-one can quite make up their minds.
“I think that when I first started X Factor I was very, I don’t know. I didn’t choose to sugarcoat myself, I'm always myself, but I was just kind of finding my feet."
"I was quite wary coming into this new place in the public eye, and then it just kind of got to the point where I was like I just have to 100 per cent be myself. And then as soon as I started being 100 per cent being myself, it went back to 50/50."
Is it going to get worse…
The former N Dubz star is about to release her first autobiography, Honest – a tell all tale about her life.
Lucky she’s not too fussed by what anyone thinks then – as she’s not expecting to get a great reaction from some people when they flick through the pages.
"I'm not scared but I know there's going to be a backlash, There's going to be people like 'oh my god, you were honest to the next level' but what do you expect if I'm going to do an autobiography."
Fearless, Tulisa.
