She's eagerly awaiting the birth of her baby – set to happen any day now – so it's no surprise that we haven't seen a whole lot of Adele lately.
And a source close to the star said the 24-year-old is 'thrilled' at the prospect of being a Mum and is busy ducking out of the limelight to prepare a cosy home with partner Simon Konecki.
According to People magazine, Adele is making the most of her last few days as a non-Mum by frantically fluffing pillows and making cups of tea making sure the toilet paper is facing the right way round.
"She is just thrilled," a source said. "She is totally laying low and nesting."
Now, we love the idea of Adele in a massive nest. Just a massive, living room-sized nest full of an array of feathers she has collected over the last nine months. We can imagine her bellowing to Simon when she needs a hand up and practising regurgitating food. Big, bird-y Adele.
But sitting in a big ol' nest made of guano and feathers and twigs isn't all Adele has been up to lately: oh no.
In anticipation of the upcoming Bond film, Skyfall, the much-hyped first listen of Adele's signature track was unveiled this week online.
It's the first music Adele has released since 2011, and even Bond star Daniel Craig said he was a fan of the 21 star on a recent US talk show.
"When Adele's name came up I just jumped at it," he said (and remember he has had a lot of training to play Bond so can probably jump pretty high). "I just said, 'we had to have her'."
Well, it might be the last we hear from Adele for a little while if she's nesting down – enjoy having a baby and all that stuff, Adele.
