Calvin Harris has already upset Lady Gaga this week – it’s cool though, they made up shortly afterwards – but it looks as if he’s about to rub Cheryl Cole up the wrong way.
During an interview on KISS FM’s breakfast show, Rickie spoke to Calvin about the time he hung out with Cheryl – who he co-produced on the song Call My Name – and the newly-buffed and tanned Scot wasn’t exactly complimentary.
Rickie asked: “You met Cheryl in Vegas, didn’t you? Did you party with her? Who stayed out the longest and where did you go?”
And Calvin replied: “She’d been out the night before so she lasted about 15 minutes. It’s disappointing, disappointing. So I went on and looked round and her table’s empty and I’m like what!? Where’s Cheryl? Oh, she’s gone to bed."
Ooh-er. Cheryl hasn’t really struck as a two-nights-on-the-lash sort of woman for a long time, not since her Girls Aloud days, in fact. But maybe all this will change now that they’re reuniting? Who knows.
In other Calvin Harris news, he might have sung about stuff being Acceptable in the 80s, but he's gone headfirst into the 21st Century with his very own app. To tie in with his new album, 18 Months, you can download an accompanying app, which plays the album in full. What’s special about that, you ask?
Well, what’s special about that is that the music stops as soon as your phone stays still. The only way to keep it moving (besides chucking it down a river, which we can’t really advise) is to dance, so if the songs such as We Found Love and Sweet Nothings don’t get you dancing, the app definitely will!
