Cheryl Cole buys Katy Perry One Direction dolls

 

It turns out that celebrity gifting isn’t all tigers and Ferraris, Cheryl Cole sent her showbiz friend, Katy Perry a set of One Direction dolls as an early birthday present.

A source said to the Sun: “Cheryl and Katy have become close since they appeared on The Graham Norton Show.

“Cheryl’s been busy with her tour so she wanted to make sure she sent a present well in advance and let Katy know she was thinking of her.

“She knows what a big fan Katy is of the boys and how she has a major crush on all five of them so she knew Katy would love the dolls.”

Katy isn’t shy of proclaiming her love for One Direction, just before the MTV awards she tweeted, “If One Direction don’t perform on the VMAs I am gonna jump off this ledge!” and the kissed Harry Styles and Niall Horan on the lips when she gave them their Best Pop Video Award. Subtle.

Miley Cyrus appeared on The Tonight Show and told the story of how of the stars of The Hunger Games, Liam Hemsworth proposed to her in June.

According to Miley the romantic moment happened when she was recording Lilac Wine in her backyard studio (we know, how swish!). Lilac Wine is Liam’s favourite song and 20 minutes after the recording of it Liam popped the big question.

Russell Crowe splits up with his wife Danielle Spencer

 

Russell Crowe, the star of Gladiator has separated from his wife of nine years. Russell and Danielle have two children together (Charles, 8 and Tennyson, 6). According to The Sydney Morning Herald the split is amicable with both parents committed to helping their sons deal with this tough time.

To make things even sadder, Russell isn’t going to be around as much as he might like. He’s currently in the USA filming Noah and has a load of movies coming out next year including, Man with the Iron Fist, Les Miserables, Broken City and Superman.
