Denise Van Outen will be performing on Strictly Come Dancing tonight despite having whiplash. It seems that nothing will be stopping the Essex girl as she attempts to fight off the stiff competition.
Spinning around…
In an interview this morning, the 32-year-old explained that she got the injury when she was practising her jive routine with her partner James Jordan.
"We do lots of spinning. On Thursday morning we danced it flat out then afterwards I was taken to the doctors. I'm still in pain but with the adrenaline and my nerves I'll probably forget about it, it's such a brilliant routine when it's done properly!"
It'll be an interesting routine when danced with whiplash.

On Friday she tweeted on her way to training about the difficulties she was having with the injury.
"On my way to BBC. I can’t move my neck, hurting so much. Ouch.”
The former Big Breakfast presenter spent much of the day in a neck brace and visiting the physiotherapist. Sounds a lot more relaxing than all that dancing.

Unfair advantage
Her Strictly cohorts may be secretly pleased however, as it has been well publicised that the TV presenter is already an experienced and able dancer. However, she refuted the claims this morning and defended herself against the criticism she had received.
"I'm a performer, I'm not a professional dancer. I've never done ballroom or latin and I've never danced with a partner before."
But you’re still pretty good eh, Denise.
