It’s not just Harry Styles who’s got a taste for older ladies – fellow One Directioner Niall Horan seems to be jumping on the cougar bandwagon too.
Niall, 19, is rumoured to be pursuing 31-year-old Irish TV presenter Glenda Gilson.
On 11 October, the One Direction boys were enjoying a night out in Dublin, but Niall wasn’t satisfied with just hanging out with the guys – he was texting and calling Glenda in an attempt to get her to come out and join them.
An insider told heat: “He has the hots for her. He’d been having a few drinks with the band and, as the drinks flowed, he seemed increasingly determined to get Glenda out with him and his friends, but she was fast asleep."
And Niall admitted to heat: “Yes, I had been trying to get hold of Glenda during the night, but she couldn’t come out in the end.
“It’s fine though – we’re good friends. We have a great craic together.”
The next day Niall came face-to-face with Glenda when One Direction filmed a segment for entertainment show Xpose, which the pretty brunette presents.
During the show, Glenda asked Niall, “Did you not get yourself a woman last night?” to which Niall replied, “No, I didn’t. You didn’t show up!”

Glenda confirmed that Niall had been hounding her to go out, but admitted she’s not interested in him romantically, not least because she's seen how badly Caroline Flack was treated by 1D fans when she was dating Harry.
“He’d been wanting me to go out but I didn’t as I don’t want to be the new Caroline Flack and be hated by every woman in the world. I refused that one.”
Maybe another reason why Glenda’s not crazy about going on a date with Niall is the fact that she has a boyfriend, Rob McNaughton.
“She’s madly in love with Rob”, an insider told heat.
