Gary Barlow matches the Rolling Stones by selling out his tour dates in one day

Gary Barlow sold out of tickets for each date of his upcoming tour in just one day. The tickets for his concert went on sale this morning. The Rolling Stones released their tickets today and sold out in minutes, however Gary flew the flag for pop by coming in a close second to the legendary band.

It only takes a minute…

The Take That star exceeded everyone’s expectations – not that we doubted you for one second, Gary – by managing to fill up every single concert venue.

The 41-year-old seemed shocked himself after tweeting about his feat.

'”Sorry to everyone who didn’t get tickets! We didn’t know how strong the demand would be.'”

All the more reason to add some extra dates then.

Gary Barlow

It’s been 11 years since the X Factor judge took to the stage solo and after the mass rush to get a ticket, we think he’s finally realised just how popular he is.

“Thank you so much for showing your support for my live dates ! I promise you a night to remember !”

If you haven’t managed to get a ticket, an auction for some that had been held back begins tonight. We might have to break open the piggy bank.

Busy Barlow

Not one to do anything by halves, the Shine singer’s 16-date tour coincides with his work as a judge on the X Factor, however he is determined that he will be able to do both.

Each concert date is in the week, leaving the over 28’s mentor free to take up his seat on the panel at the weekends.

Is there anything that this man cannot do?
