Latest X Factor casualty Jade Ellis has blasted the judges for voting tactically during the sing-off.
She’s accused the judges of sending home acts who could be a threat to their own acts.
“I don’t think the decision on Sunday was based entirely on the sing-off. The judges were thinking about their own acts.
“I believe I sang that song to a really high standard and if that wasn’t enough to save me I honestly don’t know what I could have done.
“People have said my performance was better than Union J’s, but Tulisa was out there on her own when she chose to put me through.
“The vote could have been tactical. Maybe the judges thought Union J were less of a threat to their singers in the competition.
“It is getting to that point in the game where the judges all criticise each other’s acts. But whatever the reasoning, I don’t think they did it lightly.”
Viewers were surprised when Nicole Scherzinger and Gary Barlow saved Union J over Jade.
Louis Walsh voted for his own act Union J, leaving only Tulisa Contostavlos fighting for Jade after she sang a pretty amazing version of Dido’s White Flag.
When delivering his decision to save the Union J boys, Gary said he thought he ‘wanted this for Jade more than she did’, but admitted that she was ‘a phenomenal singer’.
Jade hit back at the Take That star’s comments, saying: “You could tell by my reaction on the night what I thought of that comment. I don’t agree at all.
“I don’t think anybody would leave a young child at home for that length of time if they didn’t really want what they were doing to be a success.
“Maybe he wanted me to look a bit more desperate for it. But I’m a calm and collected person so I wasn’t going to show what he was looking for.&quo
Avril Lavigne’s ex-husband and his girlfriend turned up to a Halloween party over the weekend dressed as the Sk8er Boi star and her new fiancé Nickelback’s Chad Kroeger.
Sum 41’s Deryck Whibley donned his finest blonde wig and piled on the eyeliner to transform him into his ex, while his girlfriend Ari Cooper also popped on a long blonde wig, but this time teamed it with a goatee to become Chad. The likeness is scary.
But apparently Chad didn’t see the funny side and took to Nickelback’s Twitter to have a pop.
“Hey Deryck loved the costumes! We were going to dress up as you guys this year but all the parties had celebrity themes. Ha ha! – CK”
