Katie Price has hit back at reports in the media today that her ex, Leandro Penna, said she was “crazy”.
The statement appeared on her website earlier where she denied all of the “quotes” reportedly said by Leo.
The full statement
“I was surprised to see the stories in today's papers supposedly quoting Leo on our break-up. We had perfectly friendly contact this morning, he denies saying those things, and anyway they make no difference to my enduring affection for him.
We are good friends and will continue to remain so, I still care for him and believe he's a gentleman, and I wish him and his family nothing but the best for the future.”
Let’s hope he’s telling the truth eh, Katie.
A messy split…
Her previous statement claimed that their split was mutual as she took to her website to break the news.
“Accordingly we've mutually decided to call it a day, but we really wish each other nothing but the very best and will remain best of friends, whoever he eventually settles down with will be a very lucky girl.”
But, this morning it came out that Leo had made claims to South American magazine Caras about Katie’s state of mind.
“I left her simply because she is crazy. Katie’s brain is not wired right, or the wires don’t connect properly.”
“I don’t know what’s wrong with her. I was thinking it over recently and one day I packed my bags and left. There was nothing else I could do.”
Someone needs to get to the bottom of this. Sharpish.
