She's already had the edgy haircut, now it seems Miley Cyrus has gone even edgier, as she's been collaborating not only with late-90s/early 00s megaproducer and all-round babe, Pharrell Williams, but with Tyler, The Creator.
To those of you who haven't heard of Tyler, The Creator, he's a foul-mouthed rapper, who, along with his band/collective Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All (OFWGKTA or Odd Future for short) make really edgy, out-there music that barely goes near the charts. Well, except for Frank Ocean, who's found mainstream success after peeling off from the band.
Not that they're bad or anything, we're just putting it out there that they're super edgy, trendy guys (and a girl).
Anyway, We've known that Miley was recording with Pharrell (the mastermind behind so many Justin Timberlake and Snoop Dogg songs) for a while. But it was only today that we found out about Tyler, as well, because Pharell tweeted a photo of him and the two younger stars, along with the caption: "In the lab…"
We wonder what type of stuff he's concocting…Miley previously revealed that she'd wanted to work with Pharrell ever since he bigged her up following that moment when she was caught on camera smoking Salvia.
She told Marie Claire: "It was magic. Pharrell said: 'Don't be offended because this is how I talk, but [I thought] "That b**** is actually living.
"'She's not sitting there with her Momager's chain on her door. I want to free that b****. I want her out of her cage.'"
Woah. That sounds pretty flirty! We can't wait to hear this album!
