“I probably did 95%” of the singing in the girl band, says Nicole Scherzinger.
As if she hadn’t already made the whole “I DID ALL THE PUSSYCAT DOLL SINGING” thing clear enough.
Saucer of milk for table two? Well, probably not.
Whether you’re a Pussycat lover or more of a dog person, the chances are you’ll have clocked that Nicole was the lead singer – you just probably hadn’t worked out the exact math.
Thanks to Nicole and her Behind The Music special with VH1, we now know that she did roughly 95% of the vocals on the six-member group’s album PCD.
PCD obvs stands for Pussycat Dolls, for the acronym-phomaniacs amongst you.
Like any well-trained Pussycat, Nicole then dug an even bigger hole for herself saying:
''I hope I don't get in trouble for the stuff that I say but I'll never forget I finished the album, PCD. [Executive producer] Ron Fair and I brought the girls into the studio and we played it for them. It was the first time they'd ever heard the music .”
''Do you understand what I'm saying? We played the album for the Pussycat Dolls. It was the first time they'd ever heard the songs.''
Err, yes Nicole, we get it. Point well and truly driven home.
Now, what will the other Pussycat Dolls have to say about Nicole’s revelations? Let’s Google their names and wait and see shall we! [NB We joke PCDs, it’s a terrible joke but a joke nonetheless].
On a more serious note, Nicole’s also opened up about her battle with bulimia today. Read all about it here.
