Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart sat down to face their first television interview together last night as they continued their promotion for final Twilight installment. They were joined by co-star Taylor Lautner as they appeared on MTV News and Entertainment Tonight.
Awkwardness? What awkwardness?
The couple who have reunited away from the camera’s as well as in front of them, seemed pretty relaxed during the interview – although the conversation mainly focused around the film rather than other, slightly off limit topics. During the chat Kristen admitted that she was happy to be back together with the boys after they had been kept apart.
“For the last few press junkets, they've been separating everyone which is silly. I think because we love hanging out.”
Well, you weren’t exactly the best of friends a while ago were you now.
However, there were hints of nervousness, especially when R-Pattz was quizzed about the sex scenes in the film. Speaking about the raunchy scene with his lover, he begins to joke around and tries his very best to skirt around the question.
“I'd imagine it's quite like the scene where she's doing the pottery in Ghost.”
Yes. Minus Whoopi Goldberg, a pottery wheel and the tuneful hum of Unchained Melody.
Kristen’s reaction to the question was to quickly pass it over to Rob whilst looking like she was try to rip the skin around her fingernails clean off. But who can blame her?
The rest of the interview goes without a hitch though, with the couple bantering with each other and dare we say it – looking like they were having quite a good time.
