We chatted to voiceover man Peter Dickson – he of the booming announcements who shouts things like ‘IT’S RACHEL ADEDEJI’ – about the competition.
And he revealed how the show’s judges often get star struck meeting him.
He said: “I remember in particular Kelly Rowland was very excited indeed to meet me.
“She was looking forward to hearing how I would announce her during the live shows.
“It’s funny because obviously it’s great for me to get to meet them but instead they are all clamouring to hear me do their introduction for the first time.”
Peter is also encouraging X Factor fans to enter the contest to win live final tickets on the show’s live final on the 8th and 9th of December.
He said: “There is nothing like it for excitement. It will be another fantastic spectacle.”
