What we wouldn;t have given to be in Frankfurt last night. And not just for the hot dogs...
Last night the music industry's finest gals and guys made their way to Festhalle in Frankfurt, Germany, for the MTV European Music Awards, or MTV EMAs if you're too busy to say the whole lot, hosted by Heidi Klum.
Sashaying along the red carpet were some of the biggest celebs on the planet - from Kim Kardashian and Carly Rae Jepsen to Rita Ora and Taylor Swift.
Speaking of the I Knew You Were Trouble singer, Taylor was the star of the night; winning three awards. The 22-year-old made off with gongs for Best Female Act, Best Live Act and Best Look. She also nailed a circus-themed performance of We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together. Dressed as a circus ringmaster, Taylor danced under a shower of streamers and fireworks.
Taking to Twitter after the ceremony, Taylor wrote:
"Such an insane night!!! You guys won me 3 EMAs! Best female, best live act, best look. Can't even begin to thank you enough. I love you!!"
And this time Kanye West was very well behaved and stayed in his seat, unlike the 2009 EMAs when he stormed the stage when Taylor beat Beyonce to the Best Video award.
Carly Rae Jepsen was also a happy bunny - picking up awards for Best Song for Call Me Maybe and Best Push.
Oh, and our lovely boys, One Direction won two awards as well - Best New Act and Biggest Fans. But unfortunately the lads were in LA and couldn't attend the awards.
Lana Del Rey walked away with the award for Best Alternative Act, and South Korean pop sensation PSY won Best Video for Gangnam Style, while Nicki Minaj, who couldn't be there, won Best Hip Hop act.
Whitney Houston received the Global Icon accolade, and show producer Bruce Gilmer paid tribute to the I Will Always Love You star, saying that the gong is reserved for those who have "made a tremendous impact on the world".
He added to The Hollywood Reporter that Houston had "one of the world's greatest voices", claiming: "[She was] a huge influence on music and other artists. We all know her music lives on."
