Lady Gaga took a quick break from the South African leg of her round-the-world tour to this week to go and scout out some new and exotic animals to peel and wear, hanging out as she did with a pride of lions.
Actually, she probably isn't going to peel and wear them . Instead, she took an afternoon out to appreciate their majesty at a wildlife reserve near Johannesburg, and – handily for us – then tweeted a picture of herself near the animals.
Someone else can do the peeling.
According to The Sun, Gaga turned up at the nature reserve with a ticklist of animals that she wanted to look at with her big celebrity eyes, namely lions, buffalo, elephants, leopards and rhinos. Meanwhile, right this minute over at Longleat, a very grumpy child is cautiously feeding white bread to sad ducks.
"Safari picture: in this photo I’m about 10 feet from 13 lions, 2 cubs," she tweeted. “I spent about 30 minutes with them and took a nap!
“The lion pride even woke up at one point and let us come closer."
Anyway, we know what you are wondering. "How did Lady Gaga deal with the rigours of going on safari while still rocking a completely fierce ponytail?" Good question.
"I cut a hole in my bush hat so my pony could stick out," said Gaga. "Safari Barbie." And there's your answer.
