There’s been many a comparison drawn between Mick Jagger (ask your granddad, or Cher Lloyd, or Maroon 5) and One Direction’s Harry Styles – both are pouty hearththrobs at the helm of brilliant bands that have conquered Europe and America. And both like to put it about a bit.
So it makes sense that Mick’s offered the One Direction boys a chance to ‘jam’ with him and his band, The Rolling Stones (ask your granddad). The big-lipped lothario said: “I watched a concert of One Direction on TV the other night, you know, just to check [it] out. It reminded me very much of our early concerts.”
Speaking to CNN, he added: “When we were pushed around among the audience and we would kind of float. They were, like, floating above the audience, and they looked really distinctly uncomfortable."
Eeek! We just think they look quite adorable when they’re out with their fans…especially Harry, he totally seems to take it all in his stride.Niall, maybe not so much...
“They still want me to come and jam with them. I said, 'Yeah I'll come and play with you anytime’”
He’s not the only one who’ll happily play with the boys anytime…get your head out of the gutter, we’re talking about their range of dolls!
The sales of the dolls – if they’re any indicator of the Directioners’ individual popularity – have shown that Niall Horan is now the most popular member of the boyband!
The Irish charmer came in first – where Harry used to be, followed by Louis Tomlinson, then Harry, then Zayn Malik. Poor Liam Payne, for the second year running, joined in the rear.
